1895 he left his wife and children in Italy and moved to the USA, 1902-1903 as music teacher residing at 126 Palisade Avenue in New York Yonkers, 1905 boarding with his cousin and future wife Angelina Colonna at 203 Grand Street in Manhattan, 13.dec.1906 he returned to New York for a definitive immigration in the USA after a visit to his wife and children in Italy, 4.jul.1907 professor Tubbio Acciani of Tottenville furnished the music at a dance of the Italian-American Citizens Club at 123 New Brunwick Avenue, 1909 bandmaster of the Marine Band at the Naval Parade Riverside Drive and Hudson River, 1910 as professor of music residing with his new wife and children at 362 Broome Street in Manhattan, 1915-1930 as music teacher residing at 730 East 182nd Street in Bronx with studio at 41 Spring Street, 1936 as music teacher residing at 2110 Arthur Avenue Bronx he applied for naturalization ; 3.jun.1885 in Potenza he married Nicolina (Potenza 5.apr.1862-) ; children Carmelino (6.jan.1887-), Giovanni (15.may.1889-), Battistina (25.may.1900-) ; c1908 in New York he married the clairvoyant Angelina Colonna (Italy 1865-1934 New York) who filed for divorce on 31.aug.1915 in Bronx, but was still married with him in 1930 ; stepson Joseph Colonna (Italy 1886-), stepson Rocco Colonna (New York 1893-), stepson Alexander Colonna (New York 1895-), daughter Millie Acciani (New York 1909-)
