pianist, 1905 studied piano with Maria de Cifuentes and composition with Santos Cifuentes at the Academia Beethoven in Bogota, 1909-1912 studied piano with Eliseo Hernandez and Honorio Alarcon and harmony with Guillermo Uribe Holguin, 1917-1929 founder/director of Centro Musical de Chapinero, 1926-1929 taught at Instituto Pedagogico Nacional in Bogota, 1931-1934 she perfected her piano studies with Mas y Serracant and Manuel Burges at Academia Marshall in Barcelona Spain, 1934 taught at Conservatorio Nacional in Bogota, 1936-1945 professor at the Conservatorio de Tolima in Ibague Colombia, November 1952 she gave a celebrated concert with the choir of Instituto Femenino Orientacion Social
