pianist, organist, born at Highfield Cottage in Fisherton Anger, 21.sep.1857 baptized in the parish of Fisherton Anger, 1861 residing with his parents at Devizes Road in Fisherton Anger, 1871 pupil at the boys boarding school Dorset County School in Charminster, 1878-1884 organist of St Philip and 1884 of St Thomas both at Regent Street in London, 1891 as pianist and professor of music residing in London St Pancras, 1901 still single he lived with the also still single music publisher Frank Dean at 48 Westmoreland Mansions and 1911 at 1 Langham Street in London Marylebone, he died at 7 Riding House Street in Marylebone ; son of shoe manufacturer and potato grower with 62 employees Abraham Thomas Adlam (Salisbury 3.mar.1818-1881 Hampshire, Lymington) and Jane Augusta Wills (Salisbury 1824-30.jul.1906 Sussex, Hove) ; he never married
