pianist, professor of music, piano tuner, music dealer, born at 7 Northbrook Street, early in life he used the name George privately and Louis professionally, later George Louis both privately and professionally, as recommendation as piano teacher he advertised himself as quadrille pianist, 1875-1878 music store at 23 St Andrew's in London Uxbridge, 26.oct.1878 he opened his New Musical Library and Pianoforte Warehouse at 3 High Street in Uxbridge, 1880-1882 also as professor of music residing at that address, 1901 as music dealer/employer residing with his wife, 3 sons and servant at 25-53 St Andrews in Uxbridge, 1908 as George Louis & Son with music warehouse at 52 St. Andrews, 1910-1911 as retired music dealer with wife, son and servant residing at 18 Drayton Green Road in London West Ealing, 1930 residing at 50 Loveday Road in West Ealing ; son of schoolmaster Francis Henry Adler (Berkshire, Newbury 1814-27.jun.1879 Curridge) and schoolmistress Eliza Elliot (Newbury 1817-23.dec.1898 Uxbridge) ; 1873 in Windsor he married silk and wool shopkeeper/employer Clara Wheeler (Berkshire, Windsor 1844-1926 West Ealing) ; son professor of music Louis Francis (Uxbridge 12.jul.1880-), son professor of music Harold George (Uxbridge 15.dec.1881-), son Edgar Cyril (Uxbridge 31.mar.1886-9.jun.1917 in France as rifleman of the 9th London Regiment)
