pianist, organist, cellist, conductor, teacher, 1889 studied with his uncle organist Jose Maria Aguilar, then with his elder brother Jose, 1906-1915 studied at Conservatorio Nacional de Musica in Mexico City, 1915 conductor of Compania Impulsora de Opera, 1922 professor of music theory and choral singing at Direccion de Cultura Estetica, 1941 teacher of opera at Conservatorio Nacional, he was cellist in the Beethoven Quartet and pianist in the quintet of Galindo Baltazares
