musician, violinist, bookkeeper/accountant/auditor by profession, born in Centre now Clover in Rush Valley where his father ran a very succesful and ever growing store digged by himself underground in the desert, educated at schools in Vernon and studied at Deseret University, 1900 as bookkeeper of his father's store living with his mother and 6 siblings (all running the store) in Centre now named Clover, 1914-1928 as deputy assessor for Tooele County residing at 37 1st East Street in Tooele, 1928 orchestra musician in San Francisco and Los Angeles, 1928-1942 as orchestra musician, music publisher and bookkeeper/auditor for Salt Lake County assessors office residing at 1417 South 13th Street in Salt Lake City, 1928-1938 Utah State auditor, 1942 as employee of the Federal Food Stamp Division U.S. residing with wife at 329 1st Street in Salt Lake City ; son of storekeeper William Ajax (Wales, Llantrisant 13.mar.1832-2.oct.1898 Centre) and  Emma Jemina Hughes (England, Rotherham 10.apr.1840-28.dec.1925 Salt Lake City) ; 16.jul.1903 in Tooele he married Margaretta Blanche Irvine (Utah 4.jul.1881-10.feb.1968 Salt Lake City)
