tubist, violinist, violist, hornist, bandmaster, with the exception of his own tuba solos he was never mentioned as a composer or arranger in Wilmington, from birth till death residing at 117 East 4th Street, 1888-1900 with his mother as Albert & Son dealer in musical instruments and sheet music with instruction on violin at 117 East 4th Street, from 1900 Carl devoted himself to music teaching and his mother ran the business alone until her death, 1888 as conductor of a Brass Band and Orchestra employed by Spark Bros. Australlan Specialty Company, Nov 21 performing in Pleasant Valley, Nov 23 in Ashley, Nov 24 in Plymouth Pennsylvania, 28.aug.1892 tubist in the Hyatt's Military Band at the Riverview concert at Eight Street Park in Wilmington, from 15.apr.1893 he traveled the Western states as member of the Wallace's big military band playing a mammoth BB's bass horn starting in Peru Indiana, 10.sep.1893 tubist in the Union Park Band and performed his own composition Beelzebub for tuba solo at the Union Park in Wilmington, 17.feb.1894 violist in the C.A.C. Orchestra at the big minstrel show for the benefit of the Columbia Athletic Club at the Opera House in Wilmington, the week of 4.jun.1894 he led the orchestra at Bavarian Park the new dancing resort, 17.jun.1894 tubist in the Hyatt's Military Band and performed a tuba solo in a concert at Brandywine Park in Wilmington, 25.feb.1899 performed with a brass quartette at the Second Church of God on South Front Street in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, he died aged 36 from pulmonary tuberculosis and was buried 28.may.1901 at Riverview Cemetery where the First Regiment and Philharmonic Bands attended, 1905 his mother sold the copyrights of his compositions to Raymond Music Co. in Meriden Connecticut ; son of musician, music teacher Heinrich (Henry) Ehregott Albert (Germany Sachsen, Zeutzsch 18.oct.1821-13.apr.1881 Wilmington) and instrument/music dealer Catherine Schellkopf (Germany Wurttemberg, Herbrechtingen 2.dec.1856-9.oct.1908 Wilmington) ; his brothers George, Gottlieb and Harry were also musicians and music teachers
