violinist, conductor, studied at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, PhD with Peter Pazmany from Budapest University, studied composition with Leo Weiner, Eugene Vador and Zoltan Kodaly, studied conducting with Clemens Krauss and Hermann Scherchen, as violinist he gave concerts in over 50 countries, 1948 he had settled in Paris France, 24.may.1957 emigrated to the USA, 9.jul.1963 in Chicago he became naturalized american, founder of the Chicago Chamber Players
