, 1895-1920 he performed 'with real of humour, irresistible style and lively manner' throughout England, 8.mar.1900 he initiated at the freemason Islington Lodge, 1900-1901 as vocalist residing at 235 Essex Road in Islington, 1910-1915 as music hall artist residing at 16 Furlong Road Holloway, 17.apr.1916 his wife was admitted to the lunatic asylum Camberwell House Peckham, 1939-1949 as theatrical manager residing with his second wife at Seaview on D'Este Road in Ramsgate, he seems to have published only one song composed by himself ; son of vocalist George Nelson Howlett (Tottenham 23.jun.1850-10.dec.1884 Islington) and vocalist Caroline Harriet Greathead (Shoreditch 1852-1935 Islington) ; 1899 in Brighton he married Emily Jane Ruby Irwin (Kingston upon Thames 1875-17.jun.1919 lunatic asylum Camberwell House Peckham) ; after 1922 he married vocal comedienne Diana Maude Esmond (20.oct.1887-1.feb.1951 Ramsgate)
