conductor, studied with Oscar Paul (1836-1898), Salomon Jadassohn, Hans Sitt and Carl Reinecke at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Leipzig, studied with Anton Rubinstein in St Petersburg Russia, conducted opera in Russia, Italy, France and England, before 1916 he resided in Canada, 1916-1918 as conductor residing in Milwaukee Wisconsin, toured the USA as conductor and as accompanist to Pablo de Sarasate and as member in the Udal Quartet, 1929 residing at 2 West 75th Street in New York City, many of his songs were translated into english by Sigmund Spaeth, 1940-1942 as musician with own studio residing at 44 West 76 Street in New York City ; he married Matilda 'Hilda' (Germany 19.feb.1894-oct.1976 Arizona, Mesa), naturalized 16.aug.1954 in New York City where she was still living in 1973
