harpsichordist, organist, baptized as Vittoria Elisabetta at the parish church Santa Maria in Vado in Ferrara as the second of five daughters of architect Giovanni Battista Aleotti, 1588 she studied music with Alessandro Milleville and Ercole Pasquini in Ferrara, 1590 aged 14 she became nun at the Augustinian convent San Vito in Ferrara and took the name Raffaella, 1636-1639 she was prioress of San Vito
