pianist, studied music with his mother, 1937 studied at the Manual Training High School in Denver where he was member of the band, orchestra, Manual Choir, Melodions, Glee Club and the dance orchestra, 1930-1942 as pianist residing with his parents at 2517 Race Street in Denver, pianist in nightclubs and hotels, pianist in the Freddy Martin band and Kay Kyser band, had his own band and radio program, 1950 he had a traffic accident and was from then on a paraplegic (paralized legs) pianist, he died at his home in Sun Valley of respiratory failure survived by a son and a daughter (wife not mentioned) ; son of barber shop owner Jesse Lee Allen (Kentucky, Louisville 27.jun.1875-1949 Denver) and music teacher Inez Pearl Arnold (Kentucky, Louisville 17.oct.1884-1943 Denver) ; 2.nov.1937 in Denver he married Vantoria Hahn (Texas, Spring 2.dec.1919-16.mar.2007 Los Angeles Burbank)
