blind organist, pianist, studied organ and composition with Adolphe Marty and piano with Maurice Blazy at Institut National des Jeunes Aveugles in Paris, 20.oct.1909-1960 organist of Basilique Sainte Trinite in Cherbourg, 1919 professor of music at Ecole Municipale de Musique in Cherbourg and residing at 42 rue de la Paix, 1923 with Joseph Noyon he organized soirees and concert concours at salle Magne, 1924 residing at 23 rue Admiral d'Abosville, 20.oct.1934 his 25th anniversary as organist of Ste Trinite was celebrated with an all-day ceremony in attendance of bishop Mgr Louvard and archpriest M. le chanoine Dogon, while his lifelong friend Andre Marchal played the organ, b1941 made officier de l'Instruction Publique ; 8.aug.1919 he married Andree Lemoigne, singer and professor of singing at Ecole Municipale Cherbourg ; daughter pianist Marie Therese Allix (Cherbourg 18.jun.1924- ; 14.may.1938 laureate at Concours Leopold Bellan in Paris)
