1892 aged 25 began his musical studies at the Conservatoire de Paris, 1900-1907 completed his study composition with Vincent d'Indy at the Schola Cantorum in Paris, he died at a hospital 42 rue de Sevres Paris while residing at 4 rue Chaptal Paris, his mother was still living in La Rochelle when he died ; son of lieutenant Jean Tonny Alquier (La Rochelle 1831-) and Anne Berthe Georgette Ledoux (La Rochelle 23.aug.1846-a1942)
