violinist, studied at Stern Conservatory and the Hochschule fur Musik in Berlin, studied violin privately with Paul Juon and Alfred Wittenberg, 1928-1945 he was first violin of the Berlin Philharmonic, 1941 residing at Weichselstrasse 28 in Berlin Neukolln ; c1930 he married Ottilie Kleindir (13.oct.1903-8.feb.1945 Steinseiffen) ; daughters Ingrid (10.nov.1931-8.feb.1945 Steinseiffen) and Regina (2.aug.1936-8.feb.1945 Steinseiffen) ; 8.feb.1945 at 13:30 in Steinseiffen he committed suicide together with his family by means of carbon monoxide, they were buried 15.feb.1945 in the Catholic parish church Sw Jadwigi of nearby Arnsdorf (now Milkow)
