pianist, organist, studied with Ramon Vilanova y Barrera in Barcelona and with Antoine Francois Marmontel at the Paris Conservatoire, 1855-1859 he lived as performer in Buenos Aires, 1862 professor of harmonium at Real Conservatorio de Madrid, 1867-1868 in service of queen Isabel II at Real Palacio de la Granja and Paris, 1875 he traveled France, Italy, England and Switzerland, 1896 returned to Argentina and settled in Buenos Aires ; he married professor of harp Teresa Tormo (died 24.oct.1878 Barcelona aged 22)
