1878 entered the monastery Stift Rein taking the religious name Eugen, 1882 ordained priest, 7.nov.1912-9.jun.1931 abbot of Stift Rein, urged to resignation after he had been blamed by Archbishop Ferdinand Stanislaus Pawlikowski of Seckau for the evil spirit in Stift Rein, he retired to the Pilgrimage church of Maria Strassengel where he died
