amateur pianist and composer, engineer, sportsman and manager, active in Naples, although he is consistently called 'napoletano' by all sources, there is not a single source saying he was born in Naples, he may have studied at Conservatorio di musica San Pietro a Majella in Naples, 21.dec.1901, 9.feb.1902 and 31.jan.1904 he played and directed Savoia concerts including a trio for piano, violin and cello by Beethoven and pieces of Franz Liszt, 1904-1909 he won many prestigious international prizes with his sailing yachts Caprice and Surprise, 1904 co-founder/president of the Naples Football & Cricket Club, 1908-1921 vice-president of the rowing club Club Canottieri Savoia in Naples, 25.jul.1914-1925 co-founder/president of the Naples rowing club Circolo Canottieri Napoli to which he donated both his yachts ; brother of Edoardo Anatra
