pianist, 1809-1821 studied violin and piano with his father, after traveling France, Italy, the Netherlands, Scotland and England, he settled in London where he was appointed pianist to the Duke of Sussex, on his return to Belgium he made concert tours with his brother, 21.sep.1825 at the Belgian court, 11.mar.1826 at the Waux-Hall in Brussel, shortly after he went to Boulogne where he settled as piano teacher, then he lived for some years in Tours, 1830 he returned to Brugge where he taught piano at the boarding house of the English Ladies ; son of composer Jean sr. ; half-brother of composer Jean jr.
