cellist, organist, choral conductor, arranger, lyricist, real estate agent by profession, 1882 became member of the Psi Upsilon Fraternity, 10.apr.1890 conducted the choruses at the Young Men's Catholic Benevolent Association benefit concert at the opera house in Sandusky, 1898-1900 as real estate agent with office at 41 Kingsbury Block residing with his wife and daughter at 603 Wayne Street in Sandusky, 1.jan.1901 conducted a choir at Grace Church in Sandusky, 23.apr.1902 directed a concert by the Tuesday Musical Club at Carnegie Hall in Sandusky, he owned a 43 feet sailing yacht, 17.mar.1902 he was cellist as accompanist and as member of a string quartet in a St Patrick's Day Entertainment by the St. Leocadia Society at Carnegie Library Music Hall in Sandusky, 1904 he started to organize a big orchestra to give Sunday Concerts, 1912 he gave organist as occupation, 30.nov.1915 directed the Sandusky Musical Union Chorus in Bruch's oratorio Odysseus at Carnegie Hall in Sandusky, 1920 organist of St Paul's English Lutheran Church in Sandusky, 1920-1930 as financial agent residing with his wife, daughter and a servant at 603 Wayne Street in Sandusky, 1921 he was judge for the band contest in the Parade Prize Awards, 1935 still active as member of the Sandusky String Quartet ; son of real estate agent Dr. George J Anderson (Ohio 1827-12.sep.1872 Indiana, Martin) and Emily Louisa Coan (Connecticut 1834-) ; 14.apr.1891 in Sandusky he married Mary Kingsbury West (Sandusky 13.nov.1863-8.apr.1955 New York City) ; daughter librarian/author Dr. Marjorie Anderson (Sandusky 8.mar.1892-29.nov.1954 New York City)
