tenor singer, he used the name Eduardo de Anduaga, from a family of Basque noble descent, 1860 his family moved to Barcelona, 1869 studied at Conservatorio Isabel II in Barcelona, several years later, until 1878 he perfected his study piano with Joan Baptista Pujol and singing with the italian Palli, 1878 singer at Teatro del Liceo de Barcelona, 1881 he opened an academy of singing in Madrid immediately attracting the whole aristocracy, at the same time he studied harmony with Emilio Serrano and published a Metodo de canto, 1890-1894 he went to Milan to perfect his singing and attracted many great singers to take singing lessons from him, c1897 he settled as professor of singing in Paris, 1902 as composer member of Societe des Auteurs, Compositeurs et Editeurs de Musique (SACEM) and member of Societe des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques, as singer he performed in Paris and London, he died at his home Rue Paul Bert 17 in Paris ; son of Stanislas Holtzer and Emilia Anduaga ; he married Rosa Martorell y Pascual, widowed ; second marriage Emma Emilie Hortense Ferling
