before 1900 residing in Natal South Africa, later moved to England, 1899-1907 residing at 50 High Street in London Hackney, 1920 an Arthur Annerley was granted the Victory Medal / British War Medal for his service in WWI as private soldier of The Buffs East Kent Infantry, he did not die in England so he either returned to South Africa or emigrated elsewhere
