clarinetist, saxophonist, flutist, bassoonist, oboist, apparently not so good on cornet, trumpet and french horn, arranger for wind instruments and wind band, 1947-1948 educated at Jamestown High School where he led a dance band, 1952 he played solo clarinet in the Symphony Band at State University of New York (SUNY) in Fredonia NY where he studied music, 1958-1960 as teacher at Pittsford Central School residing at 254 Bristol Street in Rochester Canandaigua, 1992-1995 residing at 25 Chipping Ridge in Fairport near Rochester ; son of owner Union National Furniture Co. Charles Valentine Anzalone (Italy Sicily, Montedoro 15.apr.1901-oct.1971 Jamestown) and Palma Guarnieri (1906-1986 Jamestown) who married 24.apr.1926 in Jamestown ; 23.feb.1952 in Dunkirk NY he married Patricia Ireane Murphy (Florida, Miami 3.apr.1931-7.jan.2000 Rochester), divorced ; son Charles Valentine Anzalone (1952-1.sep.1995 Rochester in a car accident) ; later he married Judith Ann Pembroke (Rochester 24.feb.1939-20.jun.2004 Fairport)
