pianist, professor of music, art painter, of Swiss parentage who lived in Neuchatel at the time of his birth, graduate of the Dalcroze Institute of Geneva, London and Dresden, 1910 he worked with Emile Jaques Dalcroze at his Institute in Hellerau Dresden, teacher of dancing for 12 years in Brussel and Geneva, 1921 as professor of music with Swiss nationality he traveled from New York City to his permanent residence Geneva Switzerland, 1922 active in Geneve Switzerland, 1.aug.1923 with Swiss nationality he traveled with his wife Martha from Geneva to San Francisco California, 1924 residing with his wife Martha at 833 Cabrillo Street in San Francisco California, 18.feb.1924 as 'the most noted exponent of eurythmic dancing in Europe' he directed the themes of the dances at the Annual Parthenias 'Merrie Masque of May' at the University of California in Berkeley, 1924-1925 teacher piano improvisation and instructor Dalcroze eurythmics at the University of California and the by him founded Dalcroze School of Music and choirmaster at the First Baptist Church all in Berkeley, 1925 residing with his wife Martha at 32 Shasta Road in Oakland California, 4.apr.1925 he provided original music and directed the Annual Partheneia 'Threads of the Loom' at the University of California in Berkeley, 20.nov.1926 as music teacher with Swiss nationality he traveled with Martha from Le Havre to his then permanent residence Berkeley California, 1927 as music teacher residing with his wife Usteri at 1431 Spruce Street in Oakland California, 21.sep.1929 as music teacher/painter with Swiss nationality he traveled from the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer to New York City which was his permanent residence at that time, 1930 as professor of music residing with his wife Martha at 15 Beekman Place in New York Manhattan, 23.sep.1931 as teacher and artist with Swiss nationality he traveled from Cherbourg to his permanent residence in New York City ; 25.jun.1922 in Lausanne he married the translator Martha Anna Usteri (Switzerland, Buhler 16.oct.1874-), divorced between 1930-1940
