mainly a lyricist, D'arcy is a regular surname in England but Jaxone is probably a pseudonym, from 1883 as lyricist active in London, his compositions for piano and songs gained worldwide success and were often arranged for other instruments and for band, the songs for which he wrote the words became equally popular
