studied piano, harmony and composition at Heidelberg Conservatory, also studied sociology, medicin and psychology, besides scientific work he was active as freelance composer for radio and tv, 1987 residing in Fulda, 2001 awarded the 'Certificate of Honor for Art and Culture' of the Hessischen Ministeriums fur Wissenschaft und Kunst for his achievements in symphonic brass band music, 2004 awarded the Merit of CISM (Confederation Internationale des Societes Musicales)
