schoolteacher, 13.apr.1880 by the rector of Valladolid University he was appointed teacher at a public school in Deba Guipuzcoa, 1884 professor of teaching in Deba, 3.oct.1887 he became master of the new public education school in Deba, as a teacher he was highly criticized by the people of Deba because of his religious views and his complaints about his low wages, parents even took their children away from his school, 7.mar.1918 because of his death his vacant post in Santander was granted to Sebastian Pia Gargal
