pianist, violinist, 24.jun.1906 he made his first visit to the USA but he also considered 1913 as his year of immigration, probably because he stayed mainly in Boston since that year and less in Italy, 22.mar.1912 he returned to Boston from Milan, 1907-1947 teacher piano and violin in Boston, 1907-1914 as musician and music teacher boarding with his 4 brothers, all barbershop keepers, Giuseppe (Messina 6.jan.1876-), Biagio (Messina 10.oct.1879-), Carlo (1880-) and Samuele (1888-) at 34 Rochester Street, 151, 75 and 143 Dover Street and 157 Tyler Street, 1915-1918 teacher piano and violin at 59 Warren Avenue and 84 Montgomery Street, 1918-1947 living and teaching piano at Catherine MacRay Lodging Home at 150 West Newton Street, 1922 residing in Messina, 1930 music publisher at Via Carlo Citarella 18 in Messina, 1936 as composer member of Societa Italiana degli Autori ed Editori (SIAE), 14.may.1947 naturalized American, 1949-1963 he lived with Mrs. Joseph Arno at 202 Beech Street and with restaurant owners Vincent and Clara Arno at 25 Lawrence Lane in Boston Belmont where he left over 300 compositions in manuscript
