Samuel Rubio dates his composition from the 17th century, Barbieri says his work seems to belong to the 16th century and at the beginning of that century it is known that king Ferdinando el Catolico had in his service a chamber musician called Ludovico del Arpa which makes me suspect if this could be a relative of Santiago or maybe both were the same person
