organist, professor of music, 1887 Mus.B London , 1891 Doctor of Music from the University of Toronto Canada, born at 12 Victoria Road, 1871 as professor of music lodging in Wolverhampton Staffordshire (at the lodging house of his future mother-in-law Eliz Myatt and his future wife Catherine Myatt), 1872 as teacher of music residing with his wife at Lincoln Place Compton Road in Wolverhampton, 1873 at 15 Lord Street, 1881 residing at 10 West Side Saumarez Street in St Peter Port, 1881-1889 organist of All Saints Church and St Stephen's Church, conductor of the Guernsey Musical Union, 1889 he moved to Jersey Island, 1891 residing with his wife and 7 children aged 0-15 at 2 Sandringham Villas in St Saviour, he died after a brief illness and his wife died just a few hours later, leaving 8 children orphan at the age of 3 to 20 ; son of professor of music Richard Arscott (England, Plymouth 1816-a1891 St Saviour) and Susanna Martin (St Peter Port 1822-b1881 St Peter Port) ; brother of composer Frederick Arscott ; 1871 in Wolverhampton he married dressmaker Catherine Agnes Myatt (Staffordshire, Wolverhampton 1848-22.feb.1895 Guernsey)
