pianist, lyricist, composer of songs, playwright, born at 87 Talham Crescent, 1911 received his musical education at Brighton, Hove and Sussex Grammar School on Buckinham Road in Brighton, 4.may.1917-23.dec.1919 served in WWI in the Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment Labour Corps and was awarded a Victory Medal, 1921 residing at 112 Elgin Crescent in Kensington, 1930 residing at 150 Kensington Park Road, 1931-1944 residing at 11 Hopefield Avenue Brondesbury Park London, b1935 member of the Concert Artists Association and the British Song Society, 1945-1950 residing at 8 Portobello Road in London Kensington Pembridge, b1949 member of the Arts Club, the British Author-Composers Guild, the Irish Authors and Composers Association and the Sussex Playwright Club, he died at the General Hospital in Brighton while residing in London Kensington, 30.sep.1950 he was buried in Kensington ; son of an unknown father and Julia Arundell ; before 1921 he married Julia Clementina Phillips (-a1960 Kensington) ; 1930-1947 his sister or daughter violinist Miss Dorothy Arundell lived with them
