violinist, organist, military bandmaster, 17.apr.1865 he made his main exam in violin at the Conservatorium der Musik in Leipzig, 1867-1869 Hofmusiker 'Hoforgellist' in Schwerin Mecklenburg, 1874 residing in Wiesbaden, 1892-1912 bandmaster of the 104th 'Kronprinz' Regiment in Chemnitz Sachsen, aug.1912 when he retired from military service at the age of 71 he was honored with the Albrechtskreuz for his long service as bandmaster (at that time the second oldest in Germany) ; son of musician Hans Heinrich Asbahr ; 14.may.1869 at the Evangelische Kirche Schloss Schwerin he married Frieda Eleonore Hermine Christiane Musselmann (born Linz 7.apr.1842-, baptized Schwerin 4.may.1842)
