1955-1957 educated at University City High School in University City Missouri where he played in the March Band, 1962 MM from Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois, member of the Musicians Union and the National Songwriters Association, he died aged 46 of natural causes ; son of scientist professor Dr. Theodore Askounes (Ashford) (Greece 27.feb.1908-21.apr.1987 Florida, Tampa) and social worker teacher Venette Tommaras (Greece, Fillatra 3.may.1907-26.nov.1994 Tampa)
