unknown if his parents settled in Paris before or shortly after his birth, 10.aug.1897 he was laureat in classics/humanities from Ecole Saint-Ignace in Paris, 1905-1909 under his real name he produced his first revues at his parents M. et Mme Oswald Pourriere's Salons de rue Auber in Paris, 1910-1911 as composer and writer on dramatic art under his pseudonym residing at 21 rue de Naples, 1912 at 19 rue des Fermiers, 27.may.1918 he was taken prisoner in the battle of Chemin des Dames while serving as Lieutenant Chef radiotelegrafique in the 219th regiment d'Infanterie, 1932-1940 film and theatre critic for La Liberte, Arts et Cinema, Le Journal and Le Monde Illustre, 1939 film critic at the first Festival de Cannes, 1941 he translated Alfred Gerigk's 'Roosevelt hat einen plan' and 1943 Erich Gritzbach's 'Goering, werk und mensch' ; son of director in Paris of Societe Marseillaise de Credit industriel Oswald Claude Sebastien Felix Hilaire Pourriere (Aix-en-Provence 14.jan.1848-29.jul.1922 Paris Le Vesinet) and his wife Rose Marinelli who died December 1934 in Le Vesinet
