poet, composer, wine merchant by profession, he never used the name Constant, 1858 his wife died aged 27 one month after giving birth to a daughter, 1873-1881 conductor of harmonie Societe Musicale de Honfleur which was founded in 1868 by his fellow townsman the composer Franz Hitz (Switzerland, Aarau 17.jul.1828-22.nov.1891 Honfleur) who set many of his texts to music, 8.dec.1878 Ste-Cecile's day Auguste toured with harmonie Societe Musicale the streets of Honfleur and at six o'clock performed from the balcony of the Theatre ; son of cooper Jean Constant Aubert (Honfleur 17.feb.1804-1.aug.1872 Honfleur) and Celina Louise Petit (Honfleur 10.sep.1809-21.mar.1886 Honfleur) ; 5.sep.1853 in Honfleur he married Fanny Rignault (Honfleur 1.nov.1830-12.mar.1858 Honfleur) ; son Louis Adrien (Honfleur 14.sep.1856-6.sep.1881 Honfleur), daughter Marie Camille (Honfleur 12.feb.1858-)
