violinist, 1.jul.1844 appointed as violinist in the court chapel in Stockholm, 1849-1864 teacher violin at Stockholm Conservatory, 1853 gave together with A. Berens, Lindroth, Mollenhauer and others very popular quartet soirees at De la Croix's salon, in the 1850s and 1860s member of the Mazerska quartet, 1.jan.1861 second and 1.jul.1864 first concert champion, in his time he was Sweden's most skilled violinist ; 1847 he married pianist Ebba Bergstrom (5.jul.1815-10.feb.1860)
