violinist, tenor singer, studied violin at the Royal Academy of Music in London, studied singing with Miss Holcroft Jeffreson in Leamington and 1890 with Edwin Holland in London, 1881-1891 as musical student residing with his widowed mother, sister, brother and 2 servants at 148 Parade in Leamington, 17.mar.1890 debuted as singer in public in Leamington, 3.nov.1894 in London he advertized 'Maurice Aubrey, Esq., R.A.M., will attend for Violin Lessons every Tuesday and Friday', 1897 as musician residing at Lady Margaret Road Islington, 2.mar.1897-4.dec.1900 freemason of United Northern Counties Lodge, 4.feb.1898 he sang 'whose splendid treatment occasioned an encore' in a concert at London College Holloway Road, 1901 as private music teacher boarding at 18 Peters Road Islington, 30.oct.1902 he staged a very well attended Aubrey's Evening Concert at Stanley Hall London ; son of professor of music/music seller James Aubrey (Inkberrow Worcestershire bap.22.may.1836-21.feb.1873 Leamington) and pianoforte dealer Hester Ann Morris (Studley Warwickshire bap.30.mar.1838-1914 London Wandsworth) ; 1904 in Hungerford Berkshire he married public school teacher Edith Annie Taylor (Hungerford Berkshire 12.jun.1879- ; 1940 still widow using the name Aubrey)
