editor, music arranger, 1881-1883 as instituteur (schoolmaster, schoolteacher) residing with his wife Laurence at Rue de Save in L'Isle-Jourdain, 5.may.1885 he became editor, associate and co-director of Librairie Larousse producing many large musical study books including texts, gravures, music theory, exercises and his own arrangements of music which he tailored to the study that applied, he also edited the large Larousse dictionaries, 22.jul.1910 he was decorated Officier de la Legion d'honneur for his military services and his merit of 25 years as editor, associate and co-director of Librairie Larousse, 21.mar.1924 four months before his death he was again decorated Officier de la Legion d'honneur this time only for his merit of 39 years as editor, associate and co-director of Librairie Larousse, at time of death as editor residing at 38 Rue Fabert in Paris 7e right next to the park Esplanade des Invalides ; son of postman Jean Baptiste Auge (L'Isle-Jourdain 2.mar.1820-) and seamstress Antoinette Victorine Dubarry (L'Isle-Jourdain 10.oct.1820-) ; 9.jun.1880 in L'Isle-Jourdain he married Laurence Jury (Puy-de-Dome, Champeix 1.nov.1862-)
