1844 ordained priest, 1844 BA and 1847 MA from Trinity College Cambridge, 1851 vicar of Monkland near Leominster, 2.nov.1859 on the death of his father he succeeded him as third baronet, 1858 originator, chairman and compiler of 'Hymns Ancient and Modern' 1861, died at the vicarage of Monkland ; son of vice-admiral Sir Henry Loraine Baker C.B.
