1891-1901 with his operetta troupe active in Rome, 8.sep.1901 his son the 43 year old roman artist Romolo Balderi came from Alexandria Egypt to Naples on the ship Umberto, he had left for Cairo with his father and his wife as members of an operetta troupe, his father had died shortly after arriving at Cairo, and he himself soon gave signs of madness, the Italian consul had given the order to repatriate and immediately after he had landed at Naples they had to lock him in a nursing home ; ? son of the roman organist and composer Francesco Balderi ; ? brother of the bass Arcangelo Balderi (Valenzano 10.jul.1826-27.jun.1882 Rome) who performed Autumn 1852 as bass at Teatro Argentino in Rome ; father of the baritone Romolo Balderi (Rome 1858-) and his wife singer Ginevra Balderi who were members of his operetta troupe and 15.aug.1890 in Lisbon of the operetta company of Gennaro Carracciolo
