organist, pianist, 1860-1865 studied with Charles Lucas, George Macfarren, Walter Macfarren and Charles Steggall at the Royal Academy of Music in London, ARAM, 1864-1910 organist of St Luke's in London Westbourne Park, 1881 professor and examiner and 1897 vice-dean at Trinity College in London, 1897 widely known as a skilful piano teacher, he died at 26 Eaton Rise in Ealing while residing at 19 St Lukes Road in Westbourne Park ; cousin of composer William Samuel Bambridge
