organist, publisher, producer, later (or at the same time) marketing consultant by profession, 6.jan.2001 he played the 1976 Hill, Norman & Beard organ at St Mark's Garrison Church in Shorncliffe Folkestone to test its suitability to replace the old Mander organ in St Peter's Church in Limpsfield Surrey, during the replacement all services in St Peter's were accompanied by an electronic organ kindly loaned by Gavin Barrett, for the restoration of the casework of the new organ, a revolving star was generously donated by Gavin and Sue Barrett in memory of their parents, Don and Norah Barrett and Thomas and Phyllis Littlehales, 7.dec.2002 the organ was inaugurated, 2001 he was made Master of the Worshipful Company of Musicians
