organist, 1829-1873 of Ripon Cathedral, 1841-1850 as widower with 5 children aged 0 to 17 and a servant residing at Park Street, 1860 as professor of music residing with daughters Fanny and Ann at 13 Park Street, he was buried in Holy Trinity Churchyard ; 1823 in Halifax he married Ann (died 1841 Ripon on giving birth to a twin) ; daughter Mary (Halifax 25.jan.1824-), daughter Frances Elizabeth 'Fanny' (Ripon 17.feb.1834-), son George Frederick (Ripon 1837-), twin William Henry and Ann (Ripon 1841-) ; by 1870 he had married the 32 year younger schoolmistress Louisa E (Leamington Spa 1834-)
