tenor, he was a first tenor at theaters in Berlin, Vienna and Weimar, 1829-1840 first tenor at the court in Munchen, in a letter of 6.oct.1831 from Munchen by Mendelssohn he is mentioned as one of the singers of his compositions in a concert at the Odeon in Munchen, 1837 he apparently mastered the german language not yet well because his french romances were translated into german by Johann Daniel Anton for publication, 16.aug.1863 is actually the date of his obituary in Le Menestrel reporting he had just died at the age of 63 in Munchen
