1972 graduated from Oberlin Conservatory of Music Ohio, since 1973 residing in Utrecht Netherlands, studied and remained as professor of computer music and specialist in algorithmic composition at the Institute of Sonology in Utrecht and later at the Institute of Sonology at the Royal Conservatory in Den Haag, developer of the realtime sound synthesis program PILE and the algorithmic music composition program AC Toolbox
