pianist, choral conductor, marquis (although he called himself count), born at 46 Place Perchepinte in Toulouse, from an early age until death residing at the family chateau in Pinsaguel near Toulouse, 21.sep.1893 decorated Chevalier and 3.jul.1930 Officier de la Legion d'Honneur for his voluntary military services 1870-1896, from 14.apr.1890 as Captain of the Cavalerie, 1914-1918 he asked 3 times for reintegration ; son of marquis Francois Marie Claude Etienne Bertier (Pinsaguel 26.jul.1819-22.nov.1897) and marquise Marie Therese Mathilde de Tauriac (Toulouse 10.oct.1821-) ; 18.dec.1881 in Pinsaguel he married Louise Isabelle Paris (Paris 17.dec.1862-)
