1876 he brought his friend engineer Rousseau into contact with baron de Reinach (pivot in the Panama Scandal who committed suicide 19.nov.1891), in a report by Rousseau dated 30.apr.1886 (in which he warned that funds were insufficient for the canal project) he mentioned his friend Giunti-Bellini as being deceased, 1888 John Denison Champlin called him a 'contemporary composer' suggesting he was still alive in 1888, 31.dec.1895 an author but not composer Louis Giunti Bellini (probably his son) is listed as member of Societe des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques ; nephew of Vincenzo Bellini (1801-1835) whose surname he added to his own ; brother of the director of the Ministry of Public Works in Rome ; Evelina Giunti may have been the soprano who was active in Paris and most likely a close relative
