Anglican priest, born at St Helen's Crescent in Hastings and grew up at 12 Albany Road in Hastings St Leonards, educated for the ministry of the Church of England at Ridley Hall in Cambridge where he was ordained 1927, 1927-1929 curate of All Souls Langham Place in London, 1932-1936 of Holy Trinity in London Brompton, 1936-1953 vicar of St Paul's Church Onslow Square in London, 1939 residing at 6 Alexander Place in London Kensington, he died at Warwick Park in Tunbridge Wells while residing at St Paul's Church House Onslow Square in London ; son of private tutor Richard Clements Gould (Sussex, Petworth 28.sep.1852-20.jan.1934 St Leonards) and Agnes Mary Bagshaw (Northamptonshire, Blatherwycke 1861-1946 Newton Abbott)
