organist, professor of music, 1859-1862 studied organ and composition at the Niedermeyer School Paris and with Jules Massenet, 1861 organist of Saint Clement in Nantes, 1872-1894 of St Pierre at St Paul cathedral Nantes, spent his summer holidays at Bourg-de-Batz ; 27.sep.1862 at Pontchateau he married Adele Francoise Marie Pedron (died 18.dec.1870 in Nantes) ; their daughter Jeanne Caroline Marie Legrand (Nantes 18.jan.1868-) married organist and composer Albert Beledin (Nantes 1866-1922)
