pianist, organist, choral conductor, 1843 organist of the St Lambertuskirche in Erkelenz Germany (near Venlo) and teacher of singing at Progymnasium 'Echter Idealismus und Zielstrebigkeit' in Erkelenz, 1843-1871 conductor of the Stadtischer Gesangverein of Erkelenz, 1873 he conducted the Erkelenz Gesangverein at the occasion of their 30th Stiftungsfest ; son of Johannes Everardus Messemaeckers (1784-1863) ; brother of Henri Messemaeckers jr. (1824-1894)
